Our (his)story!

The history of Credit Tools is typically one of the "born out of frustration" stories. As creditmanagers, back in the 90's, we were using the commercial products available in the market at that time. But lack of flexibility, insufficient functionality and disappointments in handling of larger volumes forced us to develop our own tools for credit control and collections. Originally used as in-house software it became apparent that the hands-on experience that we build into the products also appealed to other companies, resulting in a split-off in 2000. Credit Tools as an independent credit management software developer and vendor was born

In the last decade we developed from a small group of renegades to an established company which currently serves over 4.000 endusers from 350 clients in 20 countries wordwide. Our solutions are multilingual, multicurrency and are compatible with local standards. Although our focus mainly is the EMEA region, our software is used today on all continents.

And stll today, as in the last 10 years, we are pursuing our vision to build better software for the entire creditmanagement proces, from order to cash. We now not only develop solutions for account receivables and debt collections, but the range has widened to include payment reconciliation management, credit insurance software, query management and risk acceptance tools.
